Dear Tommy, Its your mam here. After several letters i have sent you i still have no reply. I just want to know you are safe and well. Everything is hectic in the house as usual, your sister is still studying at school and your brother is walking now can you believe it. Well i have no more news for you apart from the neighbours still as nosy as ever. We are thinking of you and we all miss you please write back. All my love Tommy xxxx Two weeks later Tommy got sent to the front line the two people stood next to him got killed he got badly injured and had to be sent back home. As soon as he got home there was an air rade and all his family got killed including Tommy. Annie had to live with her son and no husband for the rest of her days.
